Blood orange peel and saffron aromas accent the crunchy white peach and toast point flavors of this focused, linear Champagne. Tightly meshed and mouthwatering, with a lasting, mineral-laced finish. Disgorged September 2018. Drink now through 2023. 1,800 cases made, 190 cases imported.

The NV Brut Tradition is a deep, powerful wine bursting at the seams with fruit. Melon, white flowers and minerals are some of the notes that take shape in the glass. This is a deceptively mid-weight wine, yet there is plenty of power to back the fruit. The Brut Tradition is another strong effort from Diebolt Vallois. This is Lot LT09. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015.

(100% Pinot Meunier, 90% from 2010 and the rest from 2009; 5 g/l dosage): Light gold. Deeply pitched orange marmalade and poached pear aromas are lifted by smoky minerals and white flowers. Supple and open-knit, offering juicy tangerine and Anjou pear flavors along with a refreshingly bitter quinine element. Closes on a spicy note, with repeating floral character and a hint of toasty lees.
