60% Merlot, 40% Corvina, Gran Passione has an intense purple color, tending towards amber with ageing. It is full-bodied with a solid structure due to the elevated alcohol and fine balance between soft tannins and acidity from rich red and black fruits.

Great wine for roasted and grilled meats. Ideal with game dishes. Excellent with mature hard cheeses.

Gran Passione wines come from Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, magic lands of millennial history, eternal art and lush nature. Temperate, mitigated by the sea, the chain of the Alps protects the region from the northern winds. Winters are cold and humid; summers are hot and muggy with medium temperature variations.

Gran Passione grapes are harvested slightly overripe, are de-stemmed and vinified with approximately 15 days of maceration to extract color and tannin structure. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occurs in barrels at a controlled temperature of 25/27 ° C.
