The 2021 Pinot Noir comes entirely from the Pisoni Vineyard in the southern portion of the Santa Lucia Highlands. It was only partially destemmed and was raised in 68% new French oak. It's a truly gorgeous effort offering serious aromatics of cassis, darker raspberries, spicy oak, graphite, and crushed stone. Incredibly pure, vibrant, and precise aromatically, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a stacked mid-palate, lots of building tannins, and a great finish. This concentrated, focused, age-worthy beauty needs at least 2-3 years to integrate its structure and tannins and will evolve brilliantly over the following decade. Bravo!

Blue/black fruit, cloves, licorice, menthol, lavender and chocolate all build effortlessly, amplified by the wine's natural intensity and volume. The 2021 is a big, rich wine, but it is also not overdone in any way. Jeff and Mark Pisoni blend their estate Pinot using blocks from the five main soil types found across the property. This is quintessential Pisoni.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Pisoni was matured for 11 months in 68% new French oak. It unfurls from red and black cherry, forest floor and mushroom to fine streaks of conifer as it spends time in the glass. The full-bodied palate has a powerful core of concentrated, broody fruit. It has a silky texture, vibrant acidity and a long, flavorful finish. It will benefit from 2-3+ years in bottle. 680 cases were made.

Dark and brooding in the glass, this always beloved bottling provides generous aromas of black cherry, blackberry pan sauce and mace on the spicy nose. The palate's smoothed-out tannins are creamy and yet still stiff enough to encase the cola, sarsaparilla and black-cherry-cream flavors.

A lush, fruit-driven style, with a fan-friendly set of plum and raspberry puree flavors infused with apple wood and fruitcake hints through the generous finish. Drink now through 2025. 2,256 cases made.
