The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is an especially opulent, full-throttle wine off this site. Racy and sumptuous to the core, the Estate is a terrific example of the extroverted side of the vintage. Inky fruit, chocolate, new leather and spice build as this sumptuous Cabernet shows off its curves. I imagine the 2019 will drink well with minimal cellaring.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 6% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, is prances out of the glass with vibrant blackberries, redcurrant jelly and cassis notes with hints of mocha, Indian spices and bay leaves. Full-bodied with flamboyant black fruits and velvety tannins in the mouth, it has a refreshing backbone and long, spicy finish.

Ripe and direct, with a polished beam of raspberry and black cherry paste flavors lined with hints of black licorice, roasted apple wood and warm fruitcake. Drink now through 2030. 3,200 cases made.
